Description

Stable, growing company is looking to hire an experienced Process Engineer to evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.  The Process Engineer will coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Material Handing to ensure that all departments are working at their highest levels to produce quality product cost efficiently and on time. 

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer include:

  • Resolving problems and implementing solutions

  • Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and work flow

  • Researching new products / equipment and developing new processes

  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality systems

  • Ensuring that all processes and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations

  • Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades

  • Maintain all research and activity documentation and prepare reports

  • Respond to breakdowns in the process and diagnose faults

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this Process Engineer opportunity is a strong, organized Leader with a sense of urgency, a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing - ideally assembly operations.  Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis, and Microsoft Office are required.  Experience with Epicor (or a similar MRP/ERP system) is helpful as is the ability to speak Spanish.
